0000483: fakeroot can't compile with gcc-3.4 over

Description

After gcc-3.4 can't use forword references.
But fakeroot source uses forward reference.
I have tried fakeroot-1.2.13, fakeroot-1.5.1, fakerot-1.5.4,
with gcc-3.4.4, gcc-4.0.2
But each versions are stopped with same error.

Therefore, gcc-3.4/4.0 environment can't compile host-fakeroot,
and can't build target images(ext2, tar, ... so on).

Hear is the top of the error messages:
gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I. -g -O2 -MT libfakeroot.lo -MD -MP -MF .deps/lifakeroot.Tpo -c libfakeroot.c -fPIC -DPIC -o .libs/libfakeroot.o
In file included from libfakeroot.c:96:

...

Additional Information

this was resolved when fakeroot version was upgraded
