The attached patch (gdb-nios2-svn20890.diff) adds support for building gdb/gdbserver for the nios2 arch. Updated kernel-headers with fixes for ptrace syscall (needed for gdbserver) are also attached: kernel-headers-nios2-svn20890.diff. |

Do you by that mean that the attached patch does not apply to current buildroot, or that the patch introduced by this patch does not apply to the kernel-source ? Anyway, checked out a fresh copy of buildroot and applied the patch: $ svn co svn://uclibc.org/trunk/buildroot [^] buildroot $ cd buildroot $ patch -p1 < /tmp/kernel-headers-nios2-svn20890.diff No problems with that... |

Ping.... Could someone with commit-access apply these patches. They apply cleanly to the current buildroot svn, and _only_ affects Nios2 arch. Sorry if I'm impatient .. |
