| Summary | 0001458: ls -laR seg faults on large directory trees - erratic | ||||||||
| Description |
We are using busybox 1.4.2 cross compiled for a ppc 82xx arch with kernel 2.4.18 (Monta Vista Linux modified) and glibc 3.2.1 and are having the following problem which happens a lot but not all the time: ls -laR just gives "Segmentation Fault". There was a thread about a similar issue in March (http://buildroot.busybox.net/lists/busybox/2007-March/026780.html) [^] but it was for version 1.4.1 and was apparently fixed by 1.4.2 (or maybe not?) We are not really familiar with the code - is there any way to start narrowing this down to find out what the problem is? Thanks, /Danny |
